September 2024: Online Multiplayer


This update adds Online Multiplayer! You can now create and join matches without needing to be connected via LAN.

For now, only 2 player matches are available. Also, Online functionality is a bit rough, expect some bugs.

LAN multiplayer is temporarily disabled, planning to bring it back in the future.


Misc

  • Increased wisdom upgrade requirement from 4 level/upgrade to 6 level/upgrade.

Bug fixes

Towers

  • Fixed Ruined Wind Tower Rejection ability missing upgrade effects. It was removing all but Common rarity items from tower at all upgrade tiers. This ability will now correctly switch to using different rarities for each upgrade tier.
  • Fixed Zealot tower Zeal ability incorrectly capping out at 5 stacks at all levels. Supposed to get "+1 max stack per 5 levels", 10 max stacks at lvl 25.
  • Fixed Cloudy Temple of Absorption tower Cloudy Thunderstorm ability consuming too much mana, spending full mana bar in <5s. New consumption rate is around 20-30s to consume all mana.
  • Fixed Dutchman's Grave tower Soul Attack ability incorrectly shooting multiple souls every 5 seconds. Supposed to shoot only one soul every 5 seconds. Also fixed trajectory of soul projectile.
  • Fixed The Conduit tower Counduit aura not applying any stat bonuses.
  • Fixed auras for The Conduit, The Furnace and Soulflame Device. These auras are supposed to apply a portion of attack speed stat to nearby towers. They were incorrectly applying too much attack speed.
  • Fixed Owl of Wisdom tower Weak Spots ability not making Energy Ball deal Energy damage to Immune creeps.

Misc

  • Fixed desync bug in Distorted Idol item.
  • Fixed Mini Tower Details and Full Tower Details incorrectly displaying "damage to normal" stat. Was displaying value for "damage to magic".
  • Fixed multicrit calculation incorrectly making crit chance values above 80% useless. After this change, increasing crit chance stat above 80% increases average crit count.

Creeps

  • Fixed formula for creep armor. On Hard difficulty, creeps had too much armor at later waves.
  • Fixed creeps dealing full portal damage in co-op. They will now deal half damage if the team has 2 players.
  • Fixed issue with gold/item drops in multiplayer. Gold/items were going to the player which owned the tower which killed the creep. Changed it so that gold/items go to player which owns the creep.
